Refund Policy

Because every book is personally generated and printed to order for one specific child, we handle refunds a little differently from off-the-shelf products.
Cancellations
You can cancel an order for a full refund any time before generation starts. Generation begins within seconds of checkout, so if you need to cancel, email us immediately at hello@whenigrowup.ink. Once generation has started, the book is considered custom and is not cancellable.
Damaged or defective books
If your book arrives damaged or has a printing defect, email us a photo within 14 days of delivery and we will reprint and reship it at no cost to you.
Lost shipments
If tracking indicates the package is lost, we will reprint and reship once.
What we don't refund
We can't refund a book because the AI-generated illustrations don't match the child exactly, because the style isn't what you imagined, or because the recipient didn't like it. See the Terms for more on how generation works.
